My best friend and I are home from an adventurous day! We spent the day up at a casting call for the Amazing Race. We headed out just after dropping the big kids off at school. Arrived at the location around 8:30 and jumped in line. WHEW! Some people had CAMPED there ALL NIGHT LONG. We were the 140th couple in line....given a #70 to interview. Not 10 minutes after we arrived did the line behind us begin to grow...and grow...
We waited in line a few hours until it started moving around 11 a.m. By 1 p.m. we were in the pre-screening room ready for our interview. The interview was a FUN process and we were our typical selves, left the interviewers in stitches. We were OUTTA there by 1:50. By the time we left there were at least 300 couples still in line behind us...
Maybe we'll get a call back...maybe not. But nonetheless, we had a hell of a day!
